About Bruce Hendricks
Bruce Hendricks completed his LLB at the University of the Western Cape in 2010,he heads up our Criminal Department and is the driving force behind Hassen-Harmse Attorneys. He is highly professional and highly skilled in all aspects of criminal litigation, but is not limited hereto. He has vast experience in litigation and has made his appearance in courts throughout the Western Cape as well as the Gauteng Province.

He has successfully dealt with various matters including the obtaining of interdicts against the SAPS for unlawful behaviour; juvenile arrests; unlawful detentions and High Court litigation and has successfully secured bail throughout the Western Cape. He has in the past successfully represented many high-profile clients which resulted in these clients being acquitted or charges withdrawn, adding to his high success rate.

Bruce kick-started his career at a well – known civil firm before moving to the Legal Aid Unit where he enjoyed many successes despite the immense workload. He then went on to form a vital part of a relentless team of criminal law attorneys at a well – known and highly respected Cape Town firm. Bruce is a well-rounded Criminal Litigator and as head of operations is striving to make Hendricks-Harmse Attorneys one of the leading law firms in the Province. He is a tenacious attorney who strives for client satisfaction by handling each matter professionally, individually and objectively.

About Brendale Abrahams
Brendale Abrahams completed his LLB degree at the University of the Western Cape in 2010.

He started is career at a Civil Firm where he was involved in Civil, Criminal, Divorce and Maintenance matter. Thereafter he completed his articles of clerkship at the Bellville Office of Legal Aid South Africa, where he developed his passion for Criminal Litigation.

During 2013-2014, Brendale worked in Legal Insurance but eventually returned to Legal Aid SA, where he was employed until April 2018.

Brendale has conducted numerous Criminal Trials and Bail Applications and is an experienced Criminal Law Litigator.

About Nicole Louw

Nicole Louw is a young vibrant attorney she started her legal career at Legal Aid South Africa along the West Coast where she dealt with many criminal matters and successfully handled her clients matters in court.

Ms. Louw has a high work ethic with high regard to her client’s needs, she is fierce and feisty and defend anyone without fear, favour or prejudice.

Nicole also forms part of the After Hours Bail Team.

About Chad Owen

Chad Owen is a gentle giant who started his legal career at a civil firm in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town, he has a passion for litigation and there is no challenge too big or small when it comes to defending his clients and their rights.

Mr. Davids has great succsess in after hour bail applications and has on many occasions walked more than the extra mile to secure his clients release.

He has a unyielding passion for justice and is great resource to any client. Chad is also part of our after hours team.

About Kaylynne Darian

Kaylynne Darian Stuurman joined our firm in 2018 after ceding her articles from a prominent law firm in the Cape Winelands, she has an animated, ungovernable loyalty towards her clients and would go to the extreme to ensure her clients are satisfied and happy.

Ms. Stuurman has appeared in various courts in the Western Cape and she has vast experience in criminal and civil litigation.

Ms. Stuurman also assist many clients in instituting and defending Protection/Harrasment Orders. Ms. Stuurman also forms part of our After Hours Bail Team and has excellent skills in securing bail for her clients after hours.
